Volunteer Awards

Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association

Awards

The CIASA Awards is an awards programme launched to recognise outstanding contribution and achievements of swimmers, coaches, officials and volunteers and are given out in January during the CIASA Awards Gala.

If you are interested in nominating someone for one of the Volunteer Awards, please email your written nomination to the Secretary. The Board of Directors will review the nominations and vote for the recipients.

The nomination should include the following details:

  • the name of the nominee and the award that they are being nominated for; and
  • in four or five lines describe why the nominee should be considered for the award in accordance with the descriptions above.

It should be noted that the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Service to the Community Award are not annual awards and that these awards will only be bestowed upon exceptional nominees.
