The Flowers Sea Swim is Grand Cayman’s flagship open water swimming event, held annually along the stunning Seven Mile Beach. Now in its 34th year, this iconic race draws nearly a thousand participants of all ages and abilities — from first-time swimmers to Olympic and world-class athletes — for an exhilarating one-mile ocean swim in the warm, crystal-clear Caribbean Sea.
What makes this swim truly unique is not just the beautiful course, but the incredible post-race prize distribution — over US$100,000 in cash and random prizes, with fantastic odds of winning for finishers. All competitors receive a commemorative t-shirt and goody bag, and every dollar raised goes to support the Swim Free Programme, helping children learn essential water safety skills.
